Managing chronic lower back pain is a challenge at the best of times. However, it is recognised by the National Institute for Care and Excellence (NICE), that lower back pain can be helped through self management.

Lower back supports and postural aids, help by stabilising the core or lumbar region of the back (depending on the type of support used) and repositioning body position to enhance perfect posture (seat wedges and lumbar rolls). Neck care pillows help to support the upper back and neck whilst sleeping.

There is no "quick fix" for lower back pain, but a combination of belts, supports and postural devices can help.
